Denonation & Connotation!

Denonations tends to be more literal than Connation.
(Denotation refers to the literal meaning of a word, the "dictionary definition."¨ For example, if you look up the word snake in a dictionary, you will discover that one of its denotative meanings is "any of numerous scaly, legless, sometimes venomous reptiles¡Khaving a long, tapering, cylindrical body and found in most tropical and temperate regions."
Connotation, on the other hand, refers to the associations that are connected to a certain word or the emotional suggestions related to that word. The connotative meanings of a word exist together with the denotative meanings. The connotations for the word snake could include evil or danger.)http://www.eng.fju.edu.tw/English_Literature/terms/denotation.htm

Looking At this magazine we can clearly see a man wearing shades and a black shirt, with purple line, fundamentally the colours used are quite bright and seem rather eye catching.we can say that I Have Showed the denonation of this magazine

When it comes to connotation; We can see an image of a very famous music producer and Dj, the has a grin on his face to maybe show how easy it is, and 1 finger up maybe symbolising something hes wears a black shirt with purple lines on it. it tends to also stand out. furthermore the yellow writing also alerts potential buyers as because colours used seem to be much more vivid in contrast to the background.
