Why Flat Plan?

Yes Why Flat Plan? Flat Planning is like planning your work, just think of it like righting a novel. you may need to plan the beginning, the middle, & the End - and what part may have the climax.
Flat planning is the same principal, before developing a poster or magazine cover you may need to develop this as because then you know where about everything should be. and if having some difficulties you can easily refer back to it. In addition the development of a flat plan makes the development process much more simple. because you just bang everything straight into order.
a bit like instructions.
what i have done with my flat plan is that i have spaced things out so then my target readers do not find it confusing. also the use of the colours are like keys and will help me identify things quickly and easily.
and increases the efficiency as a whole.

The Gratification Theory

The Gratification Theory is the popular approach to target the mass media, it assumes that members of the audience are not passive but take an active role in interpreting the integrating media into their own lives. The use and gratification theory follows the basic model. It is an audience-centered gratifies a need. For example, in social situation, people may feel more confident and knowledgeable when they have specific facts and stories from the media to and to conversations. By seeking out media, a person fulfils a need informed.

In addition the gratification theory also shows and identifies the psychological & social needs of people as individuals.

Identifying The Typical Reader

This Is Denzil Vomawoah from Ghana, him and his mother migrated to the UK 10 Years ago, now live in Tottenham, North London. He Is Currently In Year 11 doing his GCSE's. Denzil Tends to Follow the lastest trends and despite his mother being able to provide the money, he feels that he needs the needs to make his own living, by working at a garage. Denzil Tends to wear clothing Like Levi Jeans and Superdry. and a dash of sporting wear e.g. Adidas.
Every Morning before school denzil makes sure he has had his bowl of cookie crisp. He also and continues his breakfast at mcdonalds, with his double sausage and egg mcmuffin, and a hash brown.
Denzil is into electronics for example Ipads, Playstations, and Pc's. he also finds learning about the economy quite fun too.
Denzils Mother drive an Audi A3 2010 model, she also works at the HSBC Bank in Finsbury Park.

Development Of My School Magazine

My School Magazine

This is just a prototype of what my poster is going to look like, what i am also going to do is it add some effect and colour, as because what i have done is that i have selected an image that looks quite exciting and attractive, however because my target audience are teenagers and school kids, i need to be able to add some vivid colours, as they find this more eye catching. even referring to myself if i saw a school magazine i would not even pick it up, so imagine if is black and white - also from knowledge that we teenagers believe that school is boring and dull, I need to break my target audience from that Cliche, There should be some other factors i can add to my work. (Magazine )

My Target Audience.

my Magazine is more for the teenage and secondary school based people, as because the magazine is generally about life at school, and like magazines like Reveal and Heat, a bit of Gossip, teenagers tend to enjoy gossip, in fact the majority of people enjoy a bit of gossip. My Magazine will include statistics, about schools and showing what school is good and certain things, not just gossip. also talk about the history about the school, So those who are interested in that area, also have something to read. in addition because my target audience is the average teenagers it will also give some websites for revision and even some Television channels with high entertainment rates. Furthermore using myself as an example we teenagers tend to forget pens and pencils, just generally stationary, so i will make sure that on the front Cover a school accessory maybe added for a period of time, just to attract my audience. Furthermore what i have acknowledged about we teenagers is that we tend to find it hard what we are good at, so what i can include in this magazine is a page or 2 dedicated to the symptoms of being good at a specific course.

My Target Audience is the teenager from 13 -19, and i think my magazine may appeal to them because of the stereotypical factors like gossip. And Not Being Able to choose what they want to proceed studying

 

Name of My School Magazine!!

Im Back Again, But this time, i here to deliver my actual magazine name and cover, i want it to be called School Times As Because it is quite self explanatory, and it states the obvious, in addition the potential buyers would automatically know what it is about.
looking online i managed to find a website which allows you to download many fonts and texts (www.dafont.com), however in order to save some time and memory i just print screens the font, as because you are given a customer preview on fonts, i then cropped it and added some effects on the title and here we are.

Designing My Poster!

Yes Yes I am Back With A Bang! But This Time It Aint All About Cropping But My Poster Which I Am Designing, in addition what i am doing is a thrill poster, for my movie that is coming out, i have chosen to call it E-Coli 467. wThe Colours i have tried to soften up the image, and removed some of the noise surrounding the image and replaced it with a little blur element and a added a few water mark elements, in addition i have tried making the image darker so then it appeals to the correct genre, as you would not find vivid colours like light blue pink, and turquoise in sure genre like thriller. to make it look more pleasing and eye catching to the audience i went online and grabbed some photoshop textures which a placed as the background, and added some effect to it.


Evaluation 
Looking at my image there are many more things i could of added to it, for example being able to use more effects in order to bring out the pictures. the heading and tagline could of stood out more, because these tend to be the factors that make the poster and the Film what it actually is,
To be honest i should of showed much more skills, in the use of Photoshop, and showed more understanding in the different filters. by spending more time on doing this i could have been able to add more detail into this!
however what worked will is that i understood the use of the camera angles, this one i took was an establishing shot, were viewers could see scientific equipment, and something in the background that looks like a periodic table. the use of this means that despite the film being a thriller, it has some scientific relationship and background.

Cropping On Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is an editing software like the ulead Photoimpact series, these softwares allow you to do a variety of things to photos and other images for example posters and cards. the use of it is so then users can add effects to their designs and work. However one of the basic factors is using tools like the Cropping Tool which allows you to select/ Highlight what you want to crop/cut cut, the cropping to is quite simple to use, and only requires you to drag, and delete. it does not take any skill as you are not cutting out perfectly. but just a certain component. Tools Like The Lasso, Magnetic Lasso, And the Polygonal Lasso's Tools can be used for cutting out perfectly.

with adobe photoshop, the bits that would be cropped out is the bits that are outside the box that is the image. outside the box is the faded bits of the image. this bit would then be copped and there you have it. Cropping an image!!!
