7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in progression from it to full product?
Well my product during this task has majorly surpassed my preliminary task, as I used a whole range of different tools, I done research, more technological resources which also allowed me to explore different features for example. With Photoshop at first I wasn’t so confident and struggled with adding shades and effects on things. However with this task I have shown a broader knowledge in this. And another technological factor was the use of font websites which allowed me to be able to download representative fonts and fonts what will best suite my work.Looking at my preliminary task there were effects I liked I the filmstrips however what happened was that it was not accurate and looked quite bad,(Quality Wise).
When I look at my preliminary task I can easily say that I have improved drastically in the skills, fundamentally there are also many things I could have done in order to improve my preliminary task. I remembered doing research on different magazines, for example mixmag which helped my base my final product, with the preliminary task I didn’t really do this, this is altered my grade for it. I looked at mixmag at mixmags which then helped me allocate those conventions which make magazines look pleasing to the eye, especially with the genre i chose, i based my magazine on Dance and partying, Preferably Mixmags genre and i looked at those elements they used for example to vivid colours and badges which Potentially lures the target audience,
To conclude this I feel that my work conpared to the preliminary task was exceptional, and there were factors which made my work look much more conventional.
6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
. Essentially showing use with different types of shots would then maximize my marks overall.Another use of technology I used for this work was Adobe Photoshop CS3, CS5 and Elements which allowed me to modify images, whether adding effects or managing the size. Using this program essentially allowed me to do my work, as I used different types of Layers and filters to design my product (all four pages) one basic effect Photoshop allowed me to do was added a shadow effect on the wording, this also allowed my work to look more magazine conventional.
And finally I used the Dafont.com website to download different font packages, in essence I done this to see what font suited my product and also the genre of my product. I used Dafont.com with virtually every text on my product. Therefore it can then lure my audience, and be more user friendly as in them becoming attracted.
dafont.com essentially made my work seem and look much better and therefore this means that my work was quite conventional.

5. How did you attract/address your audience?
Essentially what I did was that with every source of texting I added that shadow effect therefore it makes wording stand out. In essence when it came to wording I tried to keep things short and snappy as because my target market isn’t the reading type, however they will like to know what is going on. For example with the featuring I just kept it basic, but understandable “Basshunter; Top 30 Tracks” I addressed my audience in informal way, and essentially this is also in reference to the gratification theory where 12the when as because in modern society teens tend to speak slang or shorten words, and by using this technique teenagers feel that the context is also talking with them. I also i have added those elements that will also attract buyers for example adding the special Issue element with a badge and also showing The “FREE MIX CD INSIDE” and everyone loves a freebie therefore using this technique also drives my target audient.4. Who would be the audience for your media product?
My magazine will also have events advertisements as because this is another factor that lures consumers into buying the magazine. Having latest information on Events makes buyers feel that they have exclusive information and everyone wants to have that exclusiveness. And then again this can be linked to advertising free music CD Demos or free mixes as because my magazine is a dance one, and knowing that consumers can get a free Mix inside is another factor of enticing these people.
3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
What I did was researched the main companies that magazines are published by, because my magazine is a dance magazine I searched for those types of organisations that develop these
· Development hell
· Uncut (Tracy Cheesman)
Essentially these magazine companies have been acknowledged for the major sales of magazines and other sources of media for example development Hell Ltd publishers of mixmag distributed Over 21,500 copies in Britain alone. And due to the fact that my magazine is a dance/ Party magazine, development hell seem quite representative.
again however we could argue the fact that if uncut distribute my magazine it will expand their markets too.
again however we could argue the fact that if uncut distribute my magazine it will expand their markets too.
2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?
The corporate social group I wanted my magazine to be aimed at was the teenage mind/ however it is also for those into party animals and those into dance. So in order to make my make my magazine seem more professional and realistic for those into dance music and partying I will and features like adding advertisements like concerts/Gigs and other types of events. Teen agers both male and female are both my primary audience therefore I will understand their needs and wants, and therefore my magazine will seem more conventional. In order to get this I looked at the attitude of David Guetta, and his facial emotion and how it responded to the potential buyers and target market – and that’s what I have done, In order to get that response. I looked at David Guetta and Stole a few ideas and elements from him like the shades for example.
