Teen Film Posters

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a teenage comedy film of 2010, it is about the usual teenage boy who has a crush on a girlwho has been appearing in his dreams, and becomes obsessed with her - then starts losing love and attention in his old girlfriend.
Looking at the actual film poster we can clearly see that this chappy (Michael Cera) is the type of teenage who wanted to look like hes bold and strong, most teeneage boys are seen this way. so relating it to this, most teenage boys are seen this way, in addition looking at the poster we can see that this boy looks winningn to do anything for this girl, they have used the two mid - shot for the girl and the lad, and have used a medium close uo for those in the backgroud, looking at their facial expression we can see the boy that fancy this girls look more determined and looks like he wanting to do anything for this girl, but the average teenage girl who is liked by someone, tends to feel reluctant and so not bothed, with boys, and looking at the image we can see this in the girls face.
the lag line & slogan is; Get the hot girl - Defeat all her evil exes, Hit Love Where It Hurts. relating it to the film, a slogan that long tends to be forgotten quite easily, it's usually the short slogans that have the impact

Developing The Magazine Front Cover

Today's Assignment is to develop a front cover for a magazine, so here I am! Designing my Magazine Called " The Alternative" - which is based on the alternative type of music genre, for example bands like Snow Patrol, Stereophonics & Coldplay. what i have done; is that i went online and grabbed some great photos of bands, and selected the best one. and start my editing on the Adobe Photoshop CS3.
In addition there were so many factors that got into my way of designing on in which was actually creating layers for the text and pictures, and also then colour of the background., what i also did was again went online to have a look at a few magazines to check what
they feature and there font sizing, to make my magazine look slightly realer.
this is what my magazine looks like currently.

this is my magazine front cover, of my magazine, looking back at it, what i could have done is add me writing about alternative genre artist, like for adding more latest information on music bands. I have also spotted a spelling mistake instead of make i entered maje

The Magazine Front Covers

First Cover Being Looked At Is The Top Gear Magazine!
Quite Basic Actually, the Masthead Has The Basic Top Gear Font, and Layout, So Potential Buys Actually Know What The Magazine Is, Its Quite Self Explanatory
A Mid Close Up Shot Of A Maserati GT, And Under It Lies Big Bold Writing In Red, Saying MASTER GT, referring to the car.
The Colour That Are Used Are Quite Simple However That Has Been Done Is That, In The Background there is the Italian Flag element where The Visual Capcity has been faded and has been Blended With the Black. In Addition what they have done is used a green and red car to symbolize the flag, and the Maserati In The Middle Representing the white in the Italian Flag. Furthermore due to the fact that the background is quite dark, they have used the Silver Maserati To Stand Out, So Then it is Eye Catching!
